The combination of the traits: frontal eyespot and 1!! tooth-like spine on the dorsal side of the (dorsally bent) toes separates this species from Cephalodella forficula (frontal eyespot & two rows of transverse spicules on the dorsal side of the toes) and Cephalodella stenroosi (no eyespot) (1) |
